Open Resources for the Study of Manuscripts
The Open Manuscripts initiative is using the CITE architecture to organize information about manuscripts, collaboratively assembled from several related projects.
The coordinated projects include:
- Sources for openly licensed images of manuscripts
- Digital manuscript facsimiles illustrated with openly licensed images
- Cataloging contents of manuscripts illustrated by openly licensed images
- Structured paleogaphic obversations linked to canonically cited images
- Diplomatic editions of texts in manuscripts
- Translations of diplomatic editions
